This is a A-Class refresher course which provides you with additional coaching on top of your earlier training and assists you in being best prepared to attempt the ESV Electrical License assessments (LEA). Our A-Class refresher covers all practical and theory elements; you will receive refresher training; hands on coaching on; help on what to expect; the key points of study needed; the knowledge needed for the ESV LEA assessments, and we show you what help you need most. Our A-Class Refresher Course is designed to provide you with all the support you’ll need to be confident before you attempt the Licensed Electrician’s Assessments (LEA). The LEAs are conducted by an assessment centre approved by ESV.
For more information on Electrical Licensing requirements visit the Energy Safe Victoria website: https://esv.vic.gov.au/licensing-coes/licence-training-assessments/undertaking-lea/
After completing the ETA A-Class Refresher and successful pass of the LEA (at an approved assessment centre), you will be recognised as an A-Grade Electrician in Victoria, where you will be able to conduct and provide services as a qualified electrician.
You must be eligible for the ESV LEA assessment. Therefore you have: 1. completed or close to completing a 4 year term as an apprentice electrician, and 2. completed all relevant units of competency at another RTO/TAFE.
The ETA A-Class Refresher training consists of: theoretical & practical refresher coaching, and a practice assessment. These are conducted in a simulated workplace environment that will represent the equipment expected in the LEA assessments.
With no more than 10 people per class, you can learn and focus on the areas you need the most help with to get you across the line.
Theory can be hard and confusing, so we’ll explain it in a way that you can relate too, making it more simpler.
Hands-on training & coaching from senior industry electricians that have seen and done it all & are here to help you.
We cater for all electrical / testing & installations in the workplace, both theory & practical.
