By law under part 5.1 of the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007, a person must successfully undertake construction induction training before working at any construction or building site in the state of Victoria. The purpose of this course is to give you the knowledge and awareness of health and safety legislative requirements in order to safely work, prevent harm to yourself or others on any active construction or building site in Victoria.

Unit of Competency:
CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a construction induction card issued by WorkSafe Victoria, that will allow you to work on a construction or building worksite in Victoria. HRDI the course RTO provider will apply to WorkSafe on your behalf, where your White Card should be sent via mail approximately two weeks after completing the course.
You will be required to provide photographic ID when you register and on the day of the course. In-person attendance is required in order to conduct & participate in a face to face learning environment.
CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry will be delivered by HRDI, RTO Number 22116 - where training consists of theoretical & practical training and assessment. These are conducted in a simulated workplace environment that will represent the requirements by WorkSafe Victoria.
With no more than 10 people per class, you can learn and focus on the areas you need the most help with to get you across the line.
Theory can be hard and confusing, so we’ll explain it in a way that you can relate too, making it more simpler.
